Evan (a.k.a. "Best Friend") Evan plays E. Guitar on my worship team...somehow we started hanging out and now (he thinks) we're best friends! Ha! He's a lot of fun! It's great having someone who can dish back the sarcasm!

Andria and Michelle (a.k.a. "The Freaks Across The Hall") Haha These girl are great! They create many laughs for all of us! Andria and her monologues! Michelle and her...self!
Our floor just wouldn't be the same without them!

MEET THE GROUPIES!!!!

Fun Times at DQ...well most of us were having fun!

Yeah, I'm still a freak but at least I'm not the only one!

Bonfire Fun! (who the heck came up with the name "bonfire"?)

Ok, so "bonfire" was a bit of an overstatement but we were "working with what we had" ok!

So, Janet and I tend to be a little lame when we're together! Here we are trying to balance ourselves on a log while pretending to jump into the fire!...I don't know it made sense in our heads at the time...WE WERE HAVING FUN OK!!!!!

DON'T JUDGE - WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO?

So we decided to make the best of the last beautiful day Caronport would see this season (last Friday) by having a picnic. It was marvelous! The sun was just setting as we ventured out with Jay's blanket and Janet's carry on suit case that we packed full of food! (You read the title...Don't judge us!) Being the master packer that I am, I was designated as "food packer" for our long trip to the front lawn. We delighted our palets with PB sandwiches, cheese and crackers, Kool aid, granola bars, carrots and dip along with my little oyster creations! So, I suppose I should introduce you to my fellow picnickers! Meet Jay, Tyler, Ann and Janet! (Ann and Janet are my quadmates!) Anyway, we had lots of laughs until the sun actually dissappeared leaving us frightened and cold. When suddenly a coyote came out of no where and nipped at Tyler's ankle leaving Ann no choice but to tackle it to the ground while Jay and Janet amazingly....ok, ok, I was just trying to add a little excitement to Caronport. (Just for the record, we have coyoties and sometimes they keep me up at night with their cries to the moon) That's all!

THE HERMIT HAS EMERGED!!

So, getting out of Moncton has to be one of the hardest things to do! Once you're there you're stuck there. If you are a lucky one who outsmarts and manages to escape, don't get too comfy because it's only a short term deal.

Welcome to the flatlands of Saskachewan! You can see your destination from the highway for about three hours prior to your arrival. Don't even think about looking for anything remotely close to a lake, river, or stream because the best you can do is a man-made pond.

As if Saskatchewan alone isn't enough, Caronport is even better. Population? Roughly 10 (not including the student body haha). I laugh about Moncton but the place definitely had its perks. You know like more than one restaurant, gas station, and convenience store. There is one place to hang out here and we call it "The Point" (otherwise known as the Pillgrim Center). It has a Starbucks that serves only half of what a regular Starbucks has to offer. Connected to that we have Subway which doesn't really have the best smells to offer so why eat the food really? Then we have a convenience store that will burn a hole in your pocket over a chocolate bar. So yeah, the options here are really quite slim! However, this is "The Place" when it comes to socializing!

So, now you know I am completely safe of any kind of harm so you can stop worrying. I am also completely bored out of my mind and totally deprived from anything that may cause an inkling of excitement within me! I'm only kidding!Sure it's a huge change but the friendships and the school work and the time I have to spend with God totally make up for everything I'm missing out on at home. Just be careful come Christmas. I may come home with a bad case of Cabin Fever...I'll be unstoppable!!!!!!
